The provided expellers make use of a horizontally rotating metal screw that feeds oil-bearing seeds into a barrel shaped outer casing with perforated walls, grinding, crushing and pressing the seeds to extract oil. Below is a breakdown of every major part and its role.
Manufactured using highly close-grained casting to ensure continued service without any vibration, under the guidance of highly qualified engineers.
Used to feed the raw material inside the casing for oil extraction. It also controls the quantity of seed supplied for crushing.
Earlier models had two stands, now replaced by a stainless steel fabricated structure. This ensures better alignment and minimizes vibration. Oil is collected into this structure, avoiding the need for an extra oil tank, and reduces variation in cake thickness to a minimum.
The main part of the expeller — it carries and provides support to the worm gear, cone, collar, cutter, gear, etc.
Manufactured using tested alloy steel for smooth running of gears and pinions. Induction and oil quenching hardness is given for durability, and gears are fitted in an oil bath case for hassle-free functioning.
Available in various specifications, the worm is an important part of modern oil milling.
All imported heavy duty bearings — taper bearings, roller bearings and thrust bearings, etc.
Designed and manufactured using mild steel extra thick plate of 1¼″ & 1″, well suited for assembling tempered cage bars and frame bars. The pinjra is made using the best quality square bars, with bolts made from extra heavy nuts that can be easily fitted or removed.
Fitted at the end of oil extraction, used for maintaining cake thickness. The collar is placed after the cone.
Fitted after the cone and collar, and is extensively used for cutting cake.
Consisting of a screw and barrel, the expeller is ideal for extracting oil from raw materials. The material is squeezed under high pressure in a single step and propelled by the rotating screw in a direction parallel to the axis. The expeller makes use of friction and continuous pressure from the screw drive to move and compress the seed material.
The configuration of the screw and shaft is designed so the material is progressively compressed as it moves along. By decreasing the clearance between the cage and shaft, and reducing the length of the screw flight in the direction of axial movement, the compression effect is achieved. Increased pressure releases the oil, which flows out through the press and is collected in the barrel, while the press-cake moves in the direction of the shaft.
Our offered expellers are power-driven, capable of processing up to 300 kg per hour of product, and extract nearly 90% oil from the seeds. We use advanced machinery and equipment for maintenance — rarely found in small repair shops — and also provide maintenance and installation services in villages and small towns.
